Zimbabwean forward Prince Dube has become a name synonymous with excellence and goal-scoring prowess. Recently, Dube was honoured with the Player of the Month award for February, a testament to his outstanding performances with Young Africans SC. His five goals during the month not only contributed significantly to Yanga’s pursuit of a third consecutive league title but also showcased his exceptional talent and importance to the team.

Dube’s journey in football has been one of resilience and determination. Initially groomed at Highlanders FC in Zimbabwe, where his goal-scoring abilities first came to light, he quickly became a standout player. This early promise earned him a move to Supersport United in South Africa. However, his stint there was not as fruitful as anticipated, prompting a return to Highlanders where he continued to impress with his knack for finding the back of the net.

His talents eventually led him to Tanzania, where he joined Azam FC. It was here that Dube truly began to shine, establishing himself as one of the top forwards in the league. His performances caught the eye of Tanzanian giants Young Africans, who eagerly signed him. Since joining Yanga, Dube has been nothing short of a revelation, consistently delivering goals and displaying technical brilliance and composure on the field.

With the anticipation building around the announcement of the Warriors squad, Dube is a strong contender for inclusion. His technical prowess, ability to read the game, and innate sense of positioning make him an invaluable asset for any team. As Zimbabwe looks to assemble a squad capable of achieving success on the international stage, Dube’s inclusion seems not only likely but essential.

With his sights set on further achievements, both with Young Africans and potentially the Zimbabwean national team, Prince Dube’s star is undoubtedly on the rise.
