Wisdom Mutasa enjoying his time in Botswana

Zimbabwean midfielder Wisdom Mutasa, is currently making waves in Botswana as a key player for Orapa United. His recent performance in Orapa United’s 3-0 victory over Flamengo Santos cemented his reputation as a valuable asset to a side that is hoping to at least finish in the top 6 of Botswana’s Premier Soccer League.

Mutasa’s contribution to the win was significant, as he scored the second goal in the 40th minute. The victory allowed Orapa United to maintain their position in 8th place with 29 points in the league standings. However, with a seven-point gap between Orapa and the teams in 7th and 6th positions—Flamengo Santos and Mochudi Centre Chiefs, respectively—consistency will be key if they are to break into the top six by the end of the season.

Wisdom Mutasa’s career has been nothing short of a rollercoaster. He began his Premier League journey at Motor Action, where his performances caught the eye of FC Platinum. After proving his mettle in the Zimbabwean league, Mutasa ventured to Europe, joining SK Senec in Slovakia. 

Returning to Zimbabwe, Mutasa had a stint with Dynamos, one of the country’s most prestigious clubs. Last season, he played for MWOS FC in the Northern Region Division One, before deciding to take his talents to Botswana, where he now plays for Orapa United.
